About Class:

A weekly class, carefully designed, structured, joyful, energetic, active, engaging, music-and-more based enrichment class for Babies and Parents using Sign & Music with fun, age-appropriate sensory and play.

Starting at 45 minutes long, these holistic music-and-more classes evolve by age and stage as children grow.

Ongoing we'll share key parent education topics and tools to help you support your unique infant and child's development. ​​​​​

Sign is a wonderful thing to do with your baby! Come have fun in this perfect, age appropriate class designed just for babies, with energetic, interactive music with drumming, strumming, singing - plus Baby Signing!

Taught by an infant and toddler specialist, early childhood expert, teacher and musician, this is a FUN, holistic baby and toddler enrichment class - using purposeful ASL vocabulary to support baby's language, social emotional and communication skills development.

Social emotional and positive praise signs are an integral and upbeat part of class. Signing also increases your bond and reduces tantrums as your child is able to express their wants and needs.​

As we play, class will also focus on a series of science-backed techniques, educational philosophies and approaches to supporting infant's and young children's development. For you to apply the information and tools in ways that work for your family, to help you to best support your unique child's development.

About Your Teacher:
A downtown treasure, Susie's Sunshine Babies & Kids classes bring joy, early learning, music, creativity, art and a celebration of childhood! Energetic, super-fun, age-appropriate, interactive classes for babies and kids ages 0-3 years. Created by an infant/toddler specialist, teacher, musician and artist, Susie’s Sensory, Art, Music and Baby Sign classes combine creativity and performance energy with an extensive background in early childhood education, early brain development studies, parent coaching, ASL studies and Postpartum Doula training.
Teaching purposeful ASL vocabulary - with signing playfully integrated throughout – classes are designed to support children’s early self-expression, cognitive development, parent-child bond, language and communication skill development and self-confidence.
Trained and experienced with RIE, Baby Massage, Baby & Children's Yoga, Early Brain Development, Postpartum Doula support, experienced in Reggio systems, Parent Education, Early Childhood Art and Music programming, Susie has been the Director of multiple early childhood and infant programs and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her classes, drawing from a variety of learning systems and progressive education philosophies to create the best enrichment experience for your baby and child. CLASS RULES & REMINDERS:

No separation: Adults must stay with and closely supervise their child, and remain responsible for their child's safety, well being and supervision at all times.​

For Messy Art Class: Paints used are washable, but stains can happen sometimes, so dress kids sensibly in clothes you don't mind getting messy. Washable, non toxic paints used.

We prefer that one adult attend for each child. Ask about exceptions, such as for older/younger siblings and family guests. Email if you want to try have a 2nd child with one adult.

Please do not come to class if you or your child are showing any signs of any illness. Please do not come to class is you or your child have covid or other illnesses. To help keep everyone well.

No refunds on classes. If you miss a class please feel free to ask Susie for a make up at another location.
