HAPPY, SAD, MAD,GLAD SONG
Hi Everyone, Here's a song for the kids about having feelings, and a simple way to support babies & kid's Social Emotional Learning..
About Children's Social Emotional Learning (SEL).
The "Social" is about how we relate to others and our relationships, and the "Emotional" is about our feelings, how we experience and manage our emotions.

A Simple Parenting Tip: Name Emotions.
We all know little kids can have BIG emotions. Just naming feelings is a wonderful way help kids - and adults - learn to know and identify what they are feeling, to help them express it in a manageable way, or to be a less over whelmed by the emotion.

Keep it simple and with no pressure - you can sing, pretend and play at naming different feelings - or name them when observing someone else's emotions - saying something simple like, "they look sad" - or mad, or happy... and so on. Or maybe ask your child, "Do you think they're sad?" It's good to add something like, "It's okay to be sad." (Or mad, scared, silly, happy and so on...)

And of course you can support them by gently asking about, or naming emotions your child or baby is having - and letting them know that it is okay for them to have their feelings.
