Baby Sign & Music EARLY Fall Outdoors

Service Description

We'll be outdoors in September and early October while the weather is nice. This outdoor class is a PCV-resident hosted playgroup. For 3-20 months. The playgroup' class meets in the shade in the rectangle lawn area closest to 1st Ave & 22/23 St. Bring your own blanket. I'll bring all the other instruments and materials. Then, in early October we'll head indoors to Town & Village on E 14th St for Mondays a 4:15. (We'll announce and post the location change closer to the time.) Then no need to know a stuytown resident to attend at that new indoor location. We'll announce and post the locations change closer to the time. Class Description: A perfect, age appropriate engaging class designed for babies and tots. Energetic, interactive music with drumming, strumming, singing - plus Baby Signing! Taught by an infant and toddler specialist, early childhood teacher and musician, this is a FUN, holistic baby enrichment class -- using purposeful ASL vocabulary to support baby's language, social emotional and communication skills development. Social emotional and positive praise signs are an integral and upbeat part of class. Signing also increases your bond and reduces tantrums as your child is able to express their wants and needs. Sign is a wonderful thing to do with your baby and toddler! Sign is taught in a fun in the moment, responsive way, as well as with fun signing class songs that make it easy to learn and incorporate sign into your daily routine with your baby. Throughout class focuses on and shares ways of supporting your baby's language, social emotional and cognitive development. Your teacher also shares tips and insights on how to use signing to empower and support your baby and toddler's sense of self and confidence - as well as to express themselves and ask for their wants and needs.

No separation is not allowed. No refunds on purchases. Reminder: Parents and caregivers must stay with their child at all times and remain solely responsible for their child's safety and well being at all times. By attending class you waive and release your teacher from liability for any injury or illness related to class participation. All activities are voluntary and are up to the caregiver's discretion.
